To whom it may concern,
Earlier this year I needed to seek a large amount of litigation funding urgently to enable a client to proceed with a large Matrimonial Property action. I contacted Geoff Allen at DBR and that funding was approved (and later increased) quickly and on terms and conditions acceptable to my client and supported by her legal advisers.
Funds were approved for the client in a timely manner, and with minimal approval and settlement conditions. In fact a couple of conditions were waived or modified in order to accommodate the clients personal situation at that time.
A DBR executive travelled to inspect the security property personally and interview the borrower with me as the Broker present.
Fees and loan structures were agreed, client’s solicitor instructed, and despite a tight timeframe and the proposal being very much “outside the square” proceeds were made available in time to meet client’s large legal fees bill due date.
Since drawdown, there has been regular communication between Geoff at DBR and me as the Broker and I have been made to feel very much part of the DBR team. The loan has just been repaid well ahead of schedule following my client’s success with her court proceedings.
I’m not in the habit of providing testimonials, but the service and communication from Geoff and the DBR team has been outstanding to the extent that I offered to write this testimonial to acknowledge DBRs support and to recommend their services to other brokers.

We had an urgent request for finance from a client in Lower Hutt. Her family home was going under the bank hammer in just 6 days. By the time we had received all the information we had just 5 days before the mortgagee sale. We went straight to DBR
We had an indicative letter of offer from DBR the same day. Our clients Solicitor was amazed DBR, via numerous emails with Mortgagee Solicitors and a lot of action “behind the scenes”, managed to delay bank tactics. Let me say without any misgivings DBR were there for us when we were in a financial spot. They provided through Brad a professional service of finance, that was there behind us and available as we needed them.
