Our background            

The owners of DBR are Darryl Eastgate and Brett Lornie. They were previously 46% shareholders in North South Finance, which they (with others) established in 2001. They then sold the business in 2006 to a public company.  Darryl and Brett established DBR and now have Geoff Allen (ex North South), once again working along side them. Well-respected finance company executive Laura Gregory has also since joined them.

Here at DBR our people are known throughout New Zealand for their honest and direct approach to finance company development loans, construction loans and bridging finance. Laura for example, has developed a reputation for helping those with debt consolidation/bank rescue/PLA (Property Law Act Notice) and home refurbishment needs.

We’re also second-to-none for fast, friendly approvals. Our loan offers have competitive interest rates and fees. Conditions to obtain drawdown are easy to understand and achieve. How do you know you're choosing the right finance company?

You should be asking the company some questions on their history. Things like: Who are the owners? How many mortgagee sales have they conducted since they’ve been operating? Can they provide you with some testimonials and contact details for past clients? At DBR, we know we’re only as good as our clients say we are.
